What should I do if the child restraint moves more than 1 inch after installation?

If the child restraint moves more than 2.5 cm (1 in.) side to side or front to back at the belt path, the installation is not secure and must be redone. Try tightening the Lower Anchor Connectors or seat belt again, move the seat to a different vehicle seating location, or switch between LATCH and seat belt installation methods. Serious injury or death may result from a poorly installed child restraint. (Pages 28, 34, 48)
