What should I do if I smell gas while using the grill?

Immediately shut off gas to the appliance, extinguish any open flame, and open the lid. If the odor continues, keep away from the appliance and immediately call your gas supplier or fire department. Do not attempt to relight the grill until the source of the gas smell has been identified and resolved. (Page 4)
