How do I clean and maintain the Pressure Cooker after each use?

Unplug and let the cooker cool to room temperature, then wash the Removable Cooking Pot with warm soapy water and a soft cloth or sponge. Remove and wash the Rubber Gasket from the Lid with warm soapy water. Most importantly, clean the bottom of the Removable Cooking Pot in the area of the Sensor Pad after each use by wiping with a soft, damp cloth and drying thoroughly, as the Sensor must be free of dirt, food, or residue.
