Press the ON/OFF MODE keypad until 'KL' appears, then use the up or down arrow keypads to adjust the offset, up to a maximum of 19.9 feet. For example, if the bottom of the keel is 2 feet below the transducer and you want to read depth below the keel, set the display to read 2.0 FT. Once a keel offset is programmed, the depth below the keel will activate the shallow and deep alarms. (Page 3–4)
How do I change the display units between feet, meters, and fathoms?
Press the ON/OFF MODE keypad until 'Un' appears on the LCD, then press either the up or down arrow keypads to select feet (FT), meters (M), or fathoms (F). These unit settings will remain the same across all modes once set, and pressing ON/OFF MODE again returns the sounder to normal operation. (Page 4)
What precautions should I take when installing the depth sounder?
Disconnect the battery during installation and use insulated wire terminals, preferably ring type, on all connections to the power source. When securing the instrument, tighten the back-clamp nuts to only six inch-pounds of torque — only slightly more than finger-tight — as over-tightening could damage the instrument and may void the warranty. Cut a 2-1/16" diameter hole in the dash for mounting. (Page 2)
How do I completely disable an alarm on the depth sounder?
To fully deactivate an alarm, reset it to zero. Pressing the ON/OFF MODE keypad only temporarily deactivates the alarm; to reactivate it, press ON/OFF MODE until the depth reading appears. (Page 3)
What should I do if the depth sounder displays blinking when powered on?
Ensure that the transducer cable is properly connected to the depth sounder and that the boat is in the water. If these are not correctly set up, the display will blink upon power activation (Page 2).

This in-hull transducer has a patented adjustable feature which ensures that sound waves are transmitted vertically to the bottom on almost any hull with a dead rise up to 22˚. With no hull penetration, installation is easy and high speed performance is maximized.
