How do I properly connect the water supply line?
Before connecting, disconnect the refrigerator from power. Flush the water supply line in a sink until water is clear, then remove the plastic cap from the valve inlet. For copper tubing, slide the brass compression nut and ferrule onto the line, push it into the inlet, then tighten the nut with a wrench—do not over-tighten. For stainless steel tubing with pre-assembled nut and ferrule, simply slide and tighten the nut. Secure the line with a steel clamp to the rear panel and coil excess tubing (about 2½ turns) behind the refrigerator. (Page 10)
