What should I do if the refrigerator won't cool properly?

First check if the freezer control is set to 'OF' or '0', which disables cooling. If the compressor doesn't run, ensure the plug is tightly connected to the outlet and check for blown fuses or tripped circuit breakers. If the room temperature is below 55°F (13°C) or above 110°F (43°C), move the refrigerator to an appropriate location as the compressor cannot maintain proper temperatures outside this range.
