How do I turn off the ice maker if I'm not using the water supply?

For a side-mounted ice maker, raise the wire signal arm until it clicks and locks in the UP or OFF position. For a rear-mounted ice maker, pull out the ice cream shelf and press the switch to the 'O' position to turn it Off. If you don't hook up water to the refrigerator, you must turn the ice maker off.
