How do I remove spots and film from dishes and the dishwasher interior?

To remove hard water lime deposit buildup and film, load clean dishes and glasses in a normal manner without metal utensils or silverware. Select the NORMAL WASH cycle and press START/CANCEL. Allow the dishwasher to run until it starts the second water fill (approximately 8 minutes), then open the door and pour 2 cups of white vinegar into the bottom of the dishwasher. Close the door and allow the cycle to finish.
