What does it mean when the OPERATION Indicator Lamp is flashing during heating mode?

A flashing OPERATION Indicator Lamp during heating mode indicates that the air conditioner has entered Automatic Defrosting operation. During this time, heat operation is temporarily interrupted for about 7 to 15 minutes while frost is removed from the outdoor unit. Once defrosting is complete, normal heating operation will resume.
