What type and how many batteries does the GE 24922 universal remote require?

The GE 24922 remote requires two (2) AAA alkaline batteries, which are not included. Insert them so the (+) and (-) markings on the batteries match the markings inside the battery compartment. Always use new batteries for best performance.
