What water temperature should I use for my dishwasher?

The entering water must be between 120°F and 140°F for good washing and drying. You can test your water temperature by using a candy or meat thermometer at the hot water faucet nearest the dishwasher. If the water temperature is below 120°F, adjust your water heater. To prevent dish damage, inlet water should not exceed 150°F.
