Can I wash plastic items in my GSD500 dishwasher?

Do not wash plastic items unless marked 'dishwasher safe' or the equivalent. For plastic items not so marked, check the manufacturer's recommendations. If you test plastic items, wash them in the top rack only. Load light plastic items so they will not become dislodged and drop to the bottom where they might contact the heating unit and be damaged.
