How do I clean the inside of the microwave oven?

Unplug the cord before cleaning any part of the oven. Some spatters can be removed with a paper towel, while greasy spatters should be cleaned with a sudsy cloth and rinsed with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, sharp utensils, or commercial oven cleaners on any part of the microwave. An occasional thorough wiping with a solution of baking soda and water helps keep the inside fresh.
