Hand wash the Side Tank with warm water and mild dish soap, then unplug the ice maker and drain the water reservoir. Connect the drain tubes as indicated in the manual, place the Side Tank on the desired side of the ice maker, and fill it with water before reattaching to the base. Ensure the Side Tank is installed flush to the front of the ice maker to prevent overflow.
