How do I properly drain my GE Profile Opal Ice Maker?

It is recommended to drain your Opal when storing it, relocating it, or when it won't be used for extended periods. To drain, unplug the ice maker, remove the drain tubes, and allow water to drain from the reservoir. Clean and dry all components before storage.
