How long does it take for a newly installed refrigerator to start making ice?
A newly installed refrigerator may take 8 to 12 hours to begin making ice cubes. The icemaker will not begin to operate until it reaches its operating temperature of 15°F (-9°C) or below. You should throw away the first few batches of ice to allow the water line to clear. (Pages 14, 28)
