How do I use the fabric softener dispenser on my GE Profile Washer?

Make sure the dispenser is securely attached to the agitator, use only liquid fabric softener, and pour the recommended amount into the dispenser. Add water until it reaches the maximum fill line. Never pour fabric softener directly on clothes as it may stain them, and do not stop the washer during the first spin as this will cause the dispenser to empty too soon. (Page 7)
