Fill hoses connecting the washer to the faucet should be replaced every 5 years; you should also turn off water faucets when the washer is not in use to relieve pressure on hoses and valves. Clean the lid with a damp cloth and dry with a soft cloth; leave the lid open after washing to allow moisture in the wash basket to evaporate.
