You should use only low-sudsing, high-efficiency (HE) detergent, such as Tide® HE, and add it to the detergent compartment of the dispenser drawer without exceeding the maximum fill line. Using too much detergent is a common cause of laundry problems and can lead to oversudsing and detergent residue being left on clothes.
