How do I use the Direct Code Entry method to program my remote?

First, locate your device's code in the code list and turn on the device manually. Press and hold Setup until the red indicator stays on, then release it. Press the device button (TV, DVR, etc.), and enter your 4-digit code. Test by pointing the remote at the device and pressing Power—if it turns off, programming is complete.
