How do I set up the Google Nest Thermostat?

Turn off power to your heating and cooling system, remove your existing thermostat and note the wiring configuration, attach the Nest base plate to the wall ensuring it's level, connect the existing wires to the corresponding terminals on the Nest base, place the display onto the base until it clicks, restore power, and follow the on-screen instructions on the Nest display or Google Home app to complete setup.
