How should I care for and maintain the booster seat?

Clean metal and plastic parts with mild soap and cool water—never use bleach or detergents. To remove the seat cover, remove the elastic loops and hooks (and plastic clips on some models) and machine wash the cover in cold water on a delicate cycle, then drip-dry. Do not use bleach. To reinstall, reverse the preceding instructions. Use a booster seat mat, towel, or thin blanket to protect your vehicle's upholstery from continuous use. Stop using the booster seat and throw it away 10 years after the date of manufacture.
