How do I adjust the recline position?

Pull out the recline handle and place the car seat in one of the six recline positions. For children under 40 lb, use recline position 4 or 5, and for those over 40 lb, use position 6. The car seat should sit as flat as possible on the vehicle seat. (Page 7)
