To install in rear-facing mode: (1) Adjust the seat to recline position 1-3, (2) Thread the LATCH or vehicle belt through the rear-facing belt path marked with a blue label, (3) Press down on the center of the seat to remove slack and ensure the vehicle belt is locked, and (4) Verify that the level indicator is fully within the blue zone.
