How do I check if the car seat is level?

The red level line on the side of the seat must be level with the ground. Check this line both before and after placing your child in the car seat. If the level line is not level with the ground, you can adjust the recline position using the base recline wedge (positions 1, 2, or 3), or if using the car seat without a base, place rolled towels under the car seat at the vehicle seat crease until the line is level with the ground.
