How do I test for proper installation with a vehicle lap/shoulder belt?

To test for correct installation with vehicle lap/shoulder belts, grab seat sides at belt path and move the car seat side to side and front to back. If the movement does not exceed 1 inch (2.5 cm) in any direction, it is installed tightly enough.
