How should the harness straps be positioned on my child?

For rear-facing installation, harness straps should be at or just below the child's shoulders with the top of the child's ears below the harness strap level. The buckle should be in the correct slot closest to the child without going underneath, and you should be able to slide your fingers off the harness straps without pinching.
