When should I use the infant insert, and should I use it in forward-facing mode?

It is recommended to use the full infant insert while the baby is under 60cm, and it can be used until the child outgrows it. The infant insert increases side impact protection. Do not use the infant insert when installing the child restraint in the forward-facing mode. (Pages 14-15)
