What should I never add to the playard?

Never add a mattress, pillow, comforter, or padding to the playard. Use only the mattress pad provided by Graco. Additionally, never add improvised netting or covers on top of the playard, as the child can become entrapped and die. Never add any attachments that are not listed in the owner's manual, including an add-on bassinet.
