Why is my seat not swinging very high?

The control setting may be too low, or a blanket may be hanging down causing increased wind resistance. Other causes include weak batteries, the baby being too heavy or too active (which requires discontinuing use), or the swing being on soft carpet instead of hard floors, which reduces swing height.
