Can I use a lap-only vehicle seat belt when the car seat is in booster mode?
No, you must never use a lap-only vehicle seat belt when the car seat is in booster mode. You must use a lap/shoulder seat belt configuration for booster use. The shoulder belt must lie across the child's shoulder between the neck and edge of shoulder.
