Why is there a delay before the air conditioner turns on when I change the cooling setting?
The CT3355 has a built-in time delay on cooling; you should allow five to ten minutes after changing the setting before the air conditioner starts. This delay is designed to protect the compressor from damage. Additionally, you should never operate the cooling system when the outdoor temperature is below 50°F (10°C) to avoid possible compressor damage. (Pages 29, 33)
