Why does my heater or AC not respond to temperature settings?

Press the SYSTEM button to set the thermostat to Heat if it's a heating issue. Ensure that your target temperature is higher than the current indoor temperature; similarly, set it to Cool for cooling and verify temperatures are lower than inside.
