Why won't my heating or cooling system respond?

Check several things: Press the SYSTEM button to set the system to Heat and ensure the temperature is set higher than the inside temperature for heating, or set to Cool with a lower temperature for cooling. Also verify the circuit breaker is on, the power switch at the heating/cooling system is on, the furnace door is closed securely, and wait 5 minutes for the system to respond.
