How should I clean the exterior of the air purifier and how often?

Use only a dry cloth to wipe the external surfaces of the air purifier at least once every 3 months and before extended storage. Do not use water, wax polish, or any chemical solution on the unit. You should also disconnect the power supply before performing any cleaning or maintenance. (Page 4)
