What safety precautions should I follow when using the HPA090?

The air purifier must always be used in its upright position, placed on a firm level surface, and never used outdoors or near water, in bathrooms, or in damp locations. Always turn the unit to OFF and unplug it from the wall outlet when not in use, and never pull the cord to disconnect it — grip the plug instead. Do not use the air purifier with a damaged cord or plug, do not block air outlets or intakes, and never attempt to open the motor housing yourself as this may void the warranty and cause damage or personal injury.
