Why won't my cooling system turn on when I set it to Cool mode?

First, ensure the temperature set point is lower than the current inside temperature. If this doesn't work, check Function 0170: System Type in your thermostat settings to make sure it is set to match your heating and cooling equipment. Also verify the circuit breaker is not tripped and the power switch at your cooling system is turned on.
