Adaptive Intelligent Recovery is a feature that eliminates guesswork when setting your schedule. It allows the thermostat to learn how long your furnace and air conditioner take to reach your desired temperature. You simply set your program schedule to the time you want the house to reach your desired temperature, and the thermostat automatically turns on heating or cooling at the right time to achieve that temperature by your scheduled time. For example, if you set Wake at 6 am with 70°, the heat will come on before 6 am so the temperature reaches 70° by wake time.
