How do I clean the filters on my dishwasher?

To remove the filter unit, turn the handle anticlockwise, then remove the central container and gauze filter and wash them under a jet of water, using a small brush if necessary. The filters should be checked and cleaned after each wash for best results. With the Self-cleaning Micro filter, the filter unit need only be checked every two weeks, though the central container and gauze filter should still be checked after each wash. (Page 17)
