How do I set the HP Deskjet 1010 as my default printer on Windows?
On Windows 7, click Start and then Devices and Printers, and ensure your printer has a check mark in the circle next to it. If it is not set as default, right-click the printer icon and choose 'Set as Default Printer' from the menu. On Windows 8, open the Charms bar, click Settings, then Control Panel, and then View devices and printers. (Page 2)
