What does error E6 mean and how do I fix it?
When the Number of copies icon alternates between E and 6, the printer is in a general error state. To resolve it, turn off the printer, unplug the power cord, wait one minute, plug the power cord back in, and turn the printer on again. If the problem persists after this reset procedure, contact HP support. (Page 16)
