How do I safely remove the bottom cover of the HP EliteBook 840 G5?

First, turn off the computer, disconnect the power cord, and disconnect all external devices. Then turn the computer upside down on a flat surface, loosen the five captive screws and the two inset captive screws, and starting under the display in the upper left corner, pry and lift the bottom cover off the computer. Reverse these steps to reinstall the cover. (Page 37-38)
