How can I install a hard drive on my HP EliteBook?
To replace the hard drive, shut down the computer, disconnect external devices and power supply. Remove bottom cover, loosen four captive screws securing the hard drive to the chassis, slide the hard drive out of the bay from center, lift it away to disengage connector.
