How do I replace the battery on my HP EliteBook 9470m Notebook PC?

First, shut down the computer and disconnect all power sources and external devices. Slide the battery release latch located under the battery to unlock it, slide the battery out of its bay and lift out to remove it entirely. Insert the new battery into the bay until the latch snaps securely and slides it left to lock (Page 36).
