How do I print wirelessly without a router using the HP Envy 4500?

You can use HP Wireless Direct to print without a router from a computer, smartphone, or other wireless-enabled device. From the Home screen on the printer display, select Wireless Direct, then select On (No Security) or On (With Security). Note that an HP Wireless Direct connection does not provide Internet access.
