How do I print wirelessly without a router using Wi-Fi Direct?
From the Home screen on the printer display, touch the Wi-Fi Direct icon and ensure Wi-Fi Direct is turned on. Then, on your mobile device, connect to the Wi-Fi Direct network name shown as DIRECT-**-HP ENVY-5640 and enter the Wi-Fi Direct password when prompted. Note that a Wi-Fi Direct connection does not provide Internet access. (Page 5)
