How do I connect the HP Envy 6400e to a wireless network using the HP Smart app?

Make sure your computer or mobile device is connected to your wireless network and that you know the Wi-Fi password. Ensure the printer is in Auto Wireless Connect (AWC) setup mode, which is indicated by the edge lighting glowing purple pulsing from the middle outward. Open the HP Smart app, tap the Plus icon, select the printer from the list, and follow the onscreen instructions to add the printer to your network.
