How do I fix a media jam in my HP LaserJet 1020?

First, open the print cartridge door and remove the print cartridge. Grasp the middle edge of the visible media and carefully pull it free in the direction it would travel through the paper path. Once removed, replace the print cartridge and close the door. You may need to turn the printer off and on again after clearing the jam.
