What should I avoid when removing a jammed page?

Do not use sharp objects like tweezers or needle nose pliers to remove jams, as damage caused by sharp objects is not covered by warranty. Also, always pull jammed media in the direction it would travel through the paper path, not forcefully against the direction of travel, to avoid damaging the printer.
