Should I connect the network cable before or after turning on the printer?
Connect the network cable before turning on the printer. The manual instructs users to connect the network cable at step 3, prior to powering on the device, and cautions not to connect the USB cable at that stage. Note that cables are not included with the printer. (Page 4)
